Whether you enjoy a sunny beach side resort or skiing down mountain passes, there are Bulgaria attractions available to suit everyone. Located on the Black Sea, Bulgaria beaches are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There is Sunny Beach, which is modernly developed and has many resorts, bars and entertainment outlets. Or if you prefer a more secluded, quaint area, try the holiday village at Duni. The summer Bulgaria weather boasts highs in the 80′s with lows in the 70′s, making it perfect for long, luxurious days in the sunshine.

If you prefer winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding, perhaps the Bulgaria attraction of the mountain resorts in Bovorets or Pamporovo will be more to your liking. You will also find there are many smaller resorts offering more economical options to the avid skier. The snow conditions remain perfect during the winter months as the Bulgaria weather remains well below freezing. These same areas offer wonderful hiking trails and abundant wildlife in the summer months.

Bulgarian food is very tasty indeed, maybe because it has so many influences from the Arabic, Turkish, Greek and Western European cuisines.

Soups are very popular in Bulgaria; there’s no lunch without soup. In summer, the most popular is a cold soup called ‘tarator’, prepared from yoghurt, water, cucumber, garlic, dill, nuts and a pinch of salt. Tourists also find it very refreshing.

For the rest of the year, there are:

1) ‘zeleva chorba’ (a kind of cabbage soup with fat meat, rice and pepper and a rather sour taste which makes it unpopular with foreigners); ‘agneshka kurban chorba’ (of Turkish origin, boiled mutton soup);

2) ‘shkembe’ (the most popular soup in the country, consisting of tripe, milk, water and spices; it is very a very good medicine for hangovers and must be consumed with chilly red pepper, garlic and vinegar).

Main courses bear the same weird names and are even tastier than the soups.

Bulgaria is popular and favorable for investments of vacation villas. The interest in investing in real estates in our country has been preserved still high despite the new destinations that enter the international market. The exposition in the English capital has been visited by approximately 12 000 people despite the poor advert from the English side .At the official Bulgarian stand 12 companies have taken part in.

The tendency of previous years has not been changed and most offered but sought after are the vacation properties along the Black sea coast and in mountain resorts

the-cloudThere’s no secret why Bulgaria has come to prominence over the last few years – it’s the best value beach holiday destination in Europe. Here are ten tips on what Bulgaria offers the holidaymaker, year round.

Beaches: You might not expect to find places with English names like Sunny Beach and Golden Sands, but these 1960s resorts have been brought right up to date while living up to their names. Sunny Beach is big and brash – Golden Sands is better for a more relaxed holiday.

Beaches plus: You don’t have to stay in a purpose-built resort to enjoy the beach. Nessebar, just a few miles from Sunny Beach, is a “living museum” town of cobbled streets and historic buildings reached by causeway from its beach hotels. Sozopol is another old town with a busy modern quarter.

Spa and wellness: Many of the new hotels that have sprung up in beach resorts offer beauty treatments and therapies. Aromatherapy and thalassotherapy, using sea water, are among the options.

Whenever we think of the perfect holiday destination, Bulgaria seldom pops up in top position on our wish lists. Having said this, the popularity of Bulgaria as a holiday destination has increased dramatically in recent years, due to the wide range of resorts, easy transport links and cheap cost of living.

Transport links to Bulgaria are particularly good. There are four international airports in Bulgaria: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas, all of which have regular flights from other capital cities. Flights from London take approximately 3 hours and arrive on a daily basis.

With the hours of daylight rapidly diminishing, many Britons start hatching winter escape plans at this time of year. To avoid the dreary UK weather, thousands will head towards sunnier climes to swim in warm seas, laze on sandy beaches and sip cocktails in the sun. Others will embrace the cold and relish the opportunities for snow sport that the winter brings. Either way, snow or sun, many people like to get away for the winter.

Sun worshipers have plenty of choice of hot destinations available to them; from the old favourites such as Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Caribbean, to the emerging hotspots of Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco, which are becoming popular due to their cultural exoticness and low prices.
